Alive Marriage
Keeping Promises
Alive Marriage Preparation Programme provides couples with group or private opportunities to explore concerns and issues regarding married life with a trained professional.
Each session involves a facilitator sharing important insights on marriage related topics and offering opportunities to discuss concerns in depth. During the process, couples complete simple inventories, write about their preferences and discuss these with their partner.

Profile of Marriage Facilitators
Mr Philip Ang
Mr Philip Ang is happily married for more than 13 years and is a father of two wonderful children. As a psychologist in private practice, he has counseled, coached, trained and mentored couples, parents with young children, adolescents and adults since 1990s. He has also lectured at various private institutions and conducted training for corporate companies. Besides having a Master of Science in Psychology from the United States, he is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Autogenic Training Practitioner, Tobacco Cessation Specialist and a licensed administrator in NCCQ couple’s inventory. His philosophy in life is “to keep the main thing the main thing”.
Dr. Mathew & Cynthia Mathews
Dr. Mathew Mathews is President of Alive Community Network and a board member of Marriage Central. Professionally, Mathew has researched on various issues related to the family. He has also journeyed with many couples over the last 10 years, helping them strengthen their relationships. He has held a clinical membership (Level 4) with the Australian Counselling Association for several years now. Mathew is married to Cynthia and they are parents to 3 children. Cynthia recently completed her MA in Applied Psychology. Together they provide ideas to couples both from research and their personal experience.
