We are more than excited to bring our Alive Community Network (ACN) programmes to the community at Bendemeer and Boon Keng. With your generous contributions, we would be able to impact the lives of many elderly individuals, low-income families including families of individuals with special needs as well as the community in greater measure.

Here are some programmes for the Bendemeer and Boon Keng community that you will be funding with your contributions:

• Senior befriender programmes and classes to keep them engaged both mentally and physically
• Care pack distributions to needy families
• Collaborations with other organisations and volunteers to do food distribution to low-income families
• Programmes for students to learn musical instruments (eg how to play the drums)
• Programmes we have been conducting (see ‘Our Past Programmes’)

Our Past Programmes and Track Record

From FY2022 to FY2024, we have

• enabled more than 6549 seniors to ‘power up’ their lives by being actively engaged both physically and mentally in activities and classes
• run classes that teach dance, playing musical instrument (drums),  photography, crafts and basic digital literacy
• organized karaoke and tea-drinking sessions to give the seniors a chance to gather with their friends in the community as well as make new ones
• distributed 200 care packs in 2023 to low-income families
